Chimney Sweeping (Cleaning)
We provide fireplace and chimney sweepings. Our service technician is a Certified Chimney Sweep with over 15 years experience. Sweeping includes internal fireplace and chimney area from firebox floor to chimney termination.
Chimney Inspections
Level one inspections are accomplished on every chimney in accordance with the National Fire and Protection Association (NFPA-211) Standards, as part of a chimney sweeping. Level 1 inspections are visual inspections to check the obvious condition of a fireplace and chimney. Higher levels of inspections are available on chimneys which do not require sweeping:
- Post chimney fire
- Buying or selling of a home
- Insurance claims
- Operational problems
- Older chimneys
Repairs
Chimneys and/or fireplaces sometimes are in need of repairs, due to age, structural faults, chimney fires or storm damage. We offer chimney relinings, damper repairs, chimney waterproofings, chimney crown repair or replacement, flashing repairs or replacement, firebox repair or rebuilds and cricket installations along with other major or minor repairs.
Masonry
We do an assortment of masonry fireplace work. We do not build masonry fireplaces from the ground up, however, we do provide partial chimney rebuilds, firebox rebuilds, installation of brick, rock, tile and marble facings. We also provide renovations, restorations and "Rumford" style modifications to existing fireplace systems.
